Schererville, Ind. - For the rest of the year, Gibson Chevrolet of South Holland, Ill. will provide a Chevrolet pace truck for the weekly stock car racing action at Illiana Motor Speedway.

It's great to be working again with owner Mike Mikuly and the entire Illiana staff," said Gibson Parts Manager Bob Ravesloot.  "We've done a number of promotions there in the past and they've always seemed successful.  I think the pace truck will draw a lot of attention."

Gibson Chevrolet has been part of the southeast Chicagoland area since George Gibson founded the dealership in May of 1951. In addition to a large inventory of new and pre-owned Chevrolet cars and trucks, Gibson is also an authorized GM Performance Parts Center, featuring Goodwrench Engines.

A service technician at Gibson, Jeff Treptow is a regular competitor at Illiana in the Mid American Sportsman class.  Treptow finished 12th in the final points tally last year and was voted the division's "most improved driver."
