NASCAR Busch Series Driver Tim Fedewa Returns to Illiana
Schererville, Ind.- NASCAR Busch Series driver Tim Fedewa will be in competition at Illiana Motor Speedway on Saturday evening, July 9th. Available for autographs during the program, Fedewa, a veteran of 10 years of NASCAR Busch racing, is slated to compete in Illiana's late model division, driving a Lisa Thomas Salon Monte Carlo entry against Illiana's regular competitors.
Fedewa, a native of Holt, Mich., will arrive at Illiana after competing in the NASCAR Busch Series event at the Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet earlier in the day. Fedewa, who has collected four wins during his NASCAR career, is slated to drive the FitzBradshaw Racing Chevrolet at Joliet. The team is co-owned by former NFL great Terry Bradshaw and Armando Fitz and can be seen on the Speed Channel reality show "NBS 24/7" on Monday nights.
Fedewa began his racing career on dirt tracks in Michigan in 1984 as a 17-year-old high school senior. Leaving the dirt speedways for the paved tracks of Michigan, Fedewa, by 1991, was rookie of the year on both the ARTGO Challenge Series and American Speed Association stock car circuits.
Fedewa began racing in NASCAR Busch competition in 1993 with his first victory coming in 1998 at the Nazareth Speedway in Pennsylvania. In May of 2000, he collected his most recent win with a victory at New Hampshire International Speedway.

Late model, limited late model, Mid American Sportsman, Turbo Stox and Pure Stock divisions will highlight the night's competition. A 30-lap late model feature will highlight the night' racing. The speedway's gates open at 4:00 p.m., with time trials set for 5:30 p.m. and the first race getting the green flag at 7:00 p.m.
