TIRE RULE PROCEDURES

Late Model, Limited Late Model & Turbo Stox

Late Model  two tires, Limited Late Model and Turbo Stox one tire.

All cars must have the minimum of branded tires on car for qualifying, and all other races. The tires you qualify on will be marked, these are the tires you must run all night.  It is your responsibility to be sure that your car has the required tires on the racecar at all times.

A tire will be considered used only following the completion of a feature or last chance race. Tires will only be branded following the completion of a feature or last chance race.

All cars must have a crew member report to the tech office following the feature or last chance race with two tires still warm from racing with that night's paint marking for branding within ten minutes of the completion of a feature or last chance race.

Any team found trying to brand tires not run on their car will be disqualified for the night.

Last chance race bump up cars will not have to have their tires branded until after feature has been raced.

Visiting and new cars must report immediately to the tire inspector with used tires. The tires will be inspected to make sure they have sufficient wear to be branded. You can elect to run more then one new tire if you don't have used tires, drivers choosing to do this will start last all evening.

All serial numbers compound markings, and tire brands must be mounted facing outward with no exceptions. Any tire not mounted this way will be considered unbranded

Any car not meeting these guidelines will be subject to a $100.00 fine per unbranded tire and will start in last place of the race. In addition, cars running any feature or last chance race without two branded tires will not be allowed to have any tires branded for the night and will be disqualified.

All wheels must have car number on rim in contrasting color by valve stem, min. ½ " in size.

We will accept branded tires from Grundy Speedway only, they must be marked and branded or will not be accepted. No exceptions.

If you cut a tire during the race you must bring the cut tire as well as the used replacement to tire tech to get that nights mark and approval.

You may use 4 new tires for the first week, 4 for the second week, starting the third week tire rule goes into effect.

Please help us out by circling the IMS brand on your tire with chalk or a paint marker to speed things up.

The decision of the tire inspector will be final.
